There´s a special reason for me to write my first yournal entry today..

I´m sooo happy !!!

Last week my NEW FISHEYE LENS arrived.. It´s a Sigma, 15mm f 2,8. I wanted to buy it since ages but I always thought I couldn´t use it much often and it´s so expensive ..

Now I could not wait any longer.. .


On Saturday and me went to our university and took some first photos ( he bought a new lens, too . )

. The pics are soo cute and I´m glad I decided for my baby.. .

When it arrived on Monday last week, it was the first day of a long week full of exams.. I thought, if I had tried my lens with the camera, I would not have learned enough.. Well, you know.. going out photographing is much more interesting than for example genetics or psychiatry.. so I forbid myself to open the lens-box !!

I was so proud of myself I waited until Saturday..

But on Saturday - of course - the weather was really bad.. until - in the evening - the sky became light-blue and the clouds nearly completely disappeared..

So we embraced our chance and went to the campus. !!

For me it had to be the campus to shoot because I´ve had my (nearly) last lecture at university and it has always been a very nice and special time. I wanted to do some (special) work for myself not to forget this.. .
